"The Girl from Ipanema" ("Garota de Ipanema") is a well-known bossa nova song, a worldwide hit in the mid-1960s that won a Grammy for "Record of the Year" in 1965. It was written in 1962, with music by Antonio Carlos Jobim and Portuguese lyrics by Vinicius de Moraes with English lyrics written later by Norman Gimbel. It is sometimes sung by female artists as "The Boy from Ipanema."

| | Tanggal 16 Agustus kemarin, Agi dan gue berdua nonton konser nya Gwen Stefani. Konsernya penuh padat pengunjung. Kebanyakan memang teenagers yang pada singing along waktu GS nyanyi, dan juga teriak2, "Gweeeen, I loooooove youuuuuu" gitu :-) Yang udah Ü30 (Über 30 = Diatas 30, hihi) kayak Agi sama gue sih banyakan kalem2 aja, asik goyang2-in jempol (minjem istilahnya Agi, hihi).
Yang gue bener2 bikin gue terpesona di konser tersebut adalah perutnya GS yang super rata dan keren berotot. Duh duh duh, kapaaaaaan gue bisa punya perut kayak begitu ya? *pengen*

| | Ini foto-foto dari konsernya Christina Aguilera tanggl 3 Juli kemaren. Music, dance choreography, tata panggung dan performance Ms. Aguilera and team bener-bener keren dan profesional, sebagaimana layaknya konser seorang super star.
Lagu-lagu yang dibawain banyakan berasal dari albumnya yang terbaru Back To Basics, seperti misalnya Makes Me Wanna Pray, Back In The Day, Ain't Another Man, Slow Down Baby, Oh Mother, Candyman dan tentu gak ketinggalan Still Dirrty. Panggungnya di-equipped dengan layar super lebar (kayak di bioskop) dimana kadang diputar film2 pendek tentang Christina. Layar lebar ini juga senantiasa menjadi bagian dari koreografi panggung sebagai latar belakang untuk lagu-lagu tertentu.
Penampilan sang super star sendiri malam itu amat sangat sexy, ditunjang dengan keahliannya menari dan suaranya yang powerful. Kostum panggung ditangani oleh Roberto Cavalli yang semua bergaya glamorous dari awal sampai akhir konser. Christina adalah seorang entertainer sejati yang tidak segan berkomunikasi dengan para penonton dan sekali2 juga melibatkan para fans untuk "sing along" atau "put your hands in the air". Sense of showmanshipnya (ato showwomanship? hihi) patut diacungin jempol.
If I would have the chance to come to her live concert again, I would certainly do that!

Perkenalkan, ini pemenangnya Deutschland Sucht Den Superstar (German Idol) tahun 2006, Tobias Regner.
Gak nemu videonya yang pas dia keren banget nyanyi Purple Rain di salah satu mottoshow nya DSDS, jadi gue pasang video clip ini aja ya. I Still Burn ini adalah hit pertama nya Tobi setelah dia menang DSDS. Memang si Tobi ini tipe2 rocker gitu, dan di masa2 pra DSDS dulunya dia emang vokalis sebuah band di waktu luangnya disela-sela kegiatan kuliah.
I Still Burn ini menurut gue walaupun lagunya keknya nadanya "keras" tapi somehow romantis. Sama kek penyanyinya *inlove*

Si Gary ini temen lama gue jaman masih di Jakarta dulu. Dia sempet performing beberapa bulan di beberapa clubs di Jakarta, abis gitu terus dia ke Hong Kong (gue sempet visiting dia juga disana, eh disini, hahahaha bingung gue) dan juga ke Jepang (sempet juga gue mampir nengokin dia Osaka). Sampai saat ini dia masih di Jepang dan udah ngeluarin album juga. Kayaknya dia bakalan tinggal di Jepang terus deh, gak balik2 lagi ke US :-))
